Fall Fun at Nonna's House

Grandma and Grandpa Meng
My brother and sister-in-law. They are awesome cooks!!!! I loved the pumpkin pie!
Brother and sister working together happliy.....
Baking a pumpkin pie from scratch (cooking a real pumpkin and making a ginger cookie crust) with Aunt Kristin. They loved cooking with her....
There is nothing like a great big dirt pile and a boy who loves to get dirty. Oh what fun.
Girl cousins...lookin a lot a like. Oh by the way these kids are my cousins kids so we just call everyone cousins....not sure if that is the correct wording ,but we are family.
Ben and Elijah.... cousins. I love how they can play all over outside at my mom's. She has a huge backyard and then the lake. The boys put cards in the wheels of their bike tires to make the clicking noise. Remember that????? The art of just being a boy!!!
Elijah going back old school with a small bike and training wheels....he has been riding without training wheels since he was three! He also learned how to skateboard this trip. He had a blast and of course that is top on his Christmas list now!!!
Too much fun at Nonna's house!?! Paul sacked out while Luke runs crazy in the room! Amazing what Dads can sleep through.

Luke quickly caught on to driving the battery operated car....it was hysterical. He could not steer well yet and would just crash into things. He didn't care.....just move him and let him go again. He was so happy at Nonna's as long as he could be outside playing and playing. He also does not sleep well in the same room with us so I was praying hard for restful sleep (last time we were visiting he cried literally all night one night). Anyway we put part of his pack in play in the closet and my mom had a drying rack that was really tall....we placed that in front of his pack in play with a quilt covering it. This way it blocked his view of our bed. That is usually the problem...he wakes up , sees us, wonders why we are not getting up, cries, cries, cries and cries. Well...praise to the Lord !!!! He slept great the entire time. I am so thankful ,because we all needed the sleep not to mention my brother and his wife were sleeping close to our room. AHHHHHH blessings from above.
